Dr Shalmali Bacchav is a Senior Ophthalmologist, specialising in Cataract, Orbit Oculoplastyand Ocular Oncology. She has completed her MBBS(First Class) from Lokmanya Tilak Municipal Medical College (Sion Hosp) in Mumbai.

She has done her post graduation in Ophthalmology(DNB) from the prestigious Aravind Eye Hospital, Tamil Nadu. She has further honed her skills by undergoing a long term long term fellowship in Orbit, Oculoplasty and Ocular oncology from the same institute.
In addition to this she has completed FICO( fellowship of International college of ophthalmologists, London, UK) and the post fellowship/sub-specialisation FAICO in Orbit and Oculoplasty.

She has been an Invited Speaker for many state and national conferences.
